YOUTH GROUP PLEASE NOTE: No Youth Group Wednesday, July 4th due to the Independence Day observance. V.B.S. (Vacation Bible School) IS BACK! V.B.S. is scheduled for July 17th, 18th and 19th starting with Mass at 8:00AM then Vacation Bible School from 9:00AM to 12:00noon in the parish hall. OUR LADY OF FATIMA SCHOLARSHIP Our Lady of Fatima Scholarship Committee is seeking applicants for up to ten scholarships being offered to Parish members and their families. You must be a high school graduate of 2018 or an ongoing college student under the age of 25 planning on attending an accredited school of higher education. JOB OPENINGS—ALL SAINTS UNIVERSITY PARISH IN TURLOCK All Saints in Turlock has two part-time job openings in the church office for a Bookkeeper and an Administrative Secretary. Salary is commensurate with experience. Each position would have an approximate work week of 15-20 hours.
Bookkeeper: The bookkeeping candidate will exhibit professionalism and confidentiality of private information such as staff compensation, parishioner giving and other confidential financial information. Duties would include reconciliation of bank accounts, accounts payable and disbursements, process payroll, verify and post income from various sources as well as making bank deposits. Experience of 3-5 years bookkeeping plus knowledge of Quickbooks, ParishSoft, Excell and Word. Administrative Secretary: This position requires an excellent knowledge of office procedures including the ability to maintain confidentiality, prioritize, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Duties would include assisting parishioners, both in person and on the telephone, ordering supplies, data entry. Bilingual English/Spanish would be helpful but not required. A good understanding of Catholic teaching is desirable. Two—five years of office experience plus knowledge of MS Word, Excel, knowledge of proper business form for written communications, and email.
