Parish Cursillo Group Schedules Ultreya

Our SS. Peter & Paul Cursillo Group has scheduled an Ultreya for Sunday, September 9th, 2018, from 2-4 PM in Grotto Hall.

The Ultreya gathers fellow Christians in an atmosphere of friendship to pray together, share, inspire, and to encourage one another to persevere in our Christian life. The mission of Cursillo is to help Christianize the world by living out what is fundamental to being a Christian. The next Diocesan Cursillo is scheduled for women, from October 4th (Thursday) to October 7th (Sunday). It is the Women’s Weekend #71 in the Scranton Diocese. The next Men’s Weekend is scheduled for March 28 - 31, 2019. It will be the Men’s Weekend #61 in the Scranton Diocese.

This Ultreya has been scheduled for several reasons. For any woman or man who may be interested in what Cursillo is all about, this is an opportunity to become more informed by attending this Ultreya session. For others, the Ultreya is an opportunity to join in community by praying together.

We Need Your Help

Our church needs a little extra cleaning, and your help is needed. This is planned for Thursday, October 11, start-ing at 8:30 am. No matter the amount of time and/or your limitations we can use your help. Supplies will be provided and a luncheon will be served around 12:30 in Grotto Hall. A sign-up sheet will be in the back of the church, or call Mary Kay Ward at 265-5299.
