OUR MISSION STATEMENT
SS. Peter & Paul Parish, a community of faith called by God to deepen
our relationship with Jesus Christ, serves the Lord by sharing our time,
talent and treasure. As disciples of Christ, we are called to bring Jesus
Christ to ourselves and others: our children, the sick, the poor, the fallen
away Catholics and those who need to hear God’s message of uncondi-
tional love and forgiveness. SS. Peter & Paul Parish is a beacon of light
rooted in Jesus Christ, passed on to his successor, our Holy Father the
Pope, and is guided by our local bishop to build the Kingdom of God on
Earth. It is our mission to shine the light of Jesus Christ in our world and
to spiritually enrich the individual members of the parish as well as the
larger community through word, worship, sacrament and service.

Please Welcome Msgr. David Tressler
While Fr. Ed is away from March 11-18, 2016,
please welcome Msgr. David Tressler, Diocesan Superin-
tendent of Schools, the weekend of March 12-13, 2016.
Monsignor Tressler has visited St. Agnes School on many
occasions, and we appreciate his presence here for the
weekend liturgy. We are also appreciative of his dedica-
tion, enthusiasm and energy in support of St. Agnes and
the schools throughout the diocese.
Altar Server Refresher
Any altar server who missed the refresher last week
should see Fr. Ed for the materials. Thank You!
Thank You
On Wednesday February 10, 2016, our SSPP Parish hosted the Lenten luncheon at the Methodist Church.
Fr. Ed was the presenter, and numerous parishioners under the guidance of Jackie Pzynar and Kathie De Wan prepared
and served the lunch. It was a wonderful job by all, and greatly appreciated by those in who attended. These Inter-
denominational Lenten Luncheons are each Wednesday of Lent ~ 11:45 am – 1:00 pm.
Special Thanks are also extended to the Altar & Rosary members who prepare and/or serve food for our Funeral
Luncheons. This continues to be a greatly appreciated act of kindness and mercy by parishioners for other parishioners
and their families. Your quiet, thoughtful efforts are a blessing and a gift of God.
