We, the faith community of St. Pius V located in South Jamaica, Queens, New York for 109 years, rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and called

to spread that Gospel, value the faith, customs, traditions and diversity of our Parish and we share them in communion with the Roman Catholic Church. We

are committed to live, proclaim and spread the Gospel message through example, service and worship, under the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. We will

continue to celebrate the Eucharist every Sunday in English, Spanish and Portuguese. As we look forward to the next 100 years, we seek spiritual growth

and unity as a community who encourages and respects each other’s differences, but comes together in one faith.

La reunión de la Ultreya de los Cursillistas se lleva a cabo todos los miércoles en el sótano de la Iglesia a las 7:30PM. El Grupo de Oración Carismático “ Cristo la Roca” se reúne todos los jueves en el sótano de la iglesia a las7:00PM. El Grupo matrimonio “La Casa de Nazaret” se reúne todos los viernes a las 7:00 pm en el sótano de la iglesia. La despensa de alimentos está distribuyendo alimentos todos los 1º Miér-coles del mes 12-1PM. Cada segundo viernes del mes, tenemos el Rosario Altagraciano a las 7:00 p.m. Se está planeando abrir un programa de ayuda después del horario de escuela para niños de la escuela elementaría, por lo cual se necesitan voluntarios. Habrá una reunión para el programa el 26 de julio a las 7:30 PM. Si están interesados en participar en el programa después de la escuela por favor estén presente. Vamos a tener una venta de garaje el 22 de julio de 9:00AM a 3:00 PM. Las tablas cuestan $ 25.00 cada una. Los formularios se pueden encontrar en el frente de la iglesia o en la rectoría y deben llenarse y devolverse a la oficina lo antes posible. Qualquer pessoa interessada em participar do programa pós-escola, por favor, esteja presente. No dia 22 de Julho temos uma venda de artigos lá fora no quintal das 9:00 AM-3:00PM. Cada mesa é $ 25.00. Os formulários para reservar espaço/mesa podem ser encontrados na frente da Igreja ou na reitoria e devem ser preenchidos e devolvidos ao escritório o mais cedo possível. We are planning to open an after school program for children of elementary school, which needs volun-teers. There will be a meeting for the after-school program on July 26 at 7:30PM. Anyone interested in participating in the after-school program please be in attendance. We will be having a yard sale July 22 from 9:00AM-3:00PM. Tables are $25.00 each. Forms can be found in the front of the Church or in the rectory and must be filled out and returned to the office by July 15.
