TEN-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF HIS EMINENCE
METROPOLITAN GERASIMOS OF SAN
FRANCISCO

FAY LYONS was diagnosed and treated for Triple Negative Breast Cancer in 2012, and in August 2015 she was diagnosed with AML Leukemia.
She is enduring monthly chemo treatments until a bone marrow donor can be found. Fay needs to find that perfect match so that she can have a life saving transplant. Fay is of Greek descent, so her match would more than likely be of Greek ethnicity. Fay is the mother of one child, Barbra who is a High School Freshman and the wife of her husband Barry.
Thousands of patients diagnosed with a blood cancer need you! You just might be a perfect match! Donating is NOT painful and relatively routine today. Please swab your cheek, join the registry, and give the gift of time to others.

To be a donor you must be:
1.Between the ages of 18-44. 90% of doctors
choose donors within this age group as the
younger donor cells lead to more successful
transplants.
2. Be willing to help any patient in need.
Adding more diverse members increases the
likelihood that all patients will find a life-saving
match.
3.Be in general good health. Please see health
