Propagation of the Faith
This weekend, there will be a special Mission Appeal Col-lection which falls under the auspices of The Propagation of the Faith in the Archdiocese of Newark.
St. Therese has been asked to aid the missionary effort in the Diocese of Jaffna-Sri Lanka. The diocese is in the NW coast of Sri Lanka which has been severely devastated by a civil war for over 30 years. Since most of the Catholic population lives in this area, their houses, Churches and schools have been largely destroyed by the interminable war that lasted over three decades.
Those who live there are proud of the special presence and protection of Our Lady of Madhu and are grateful for your prayers and assistance. Thank you!

ST. THERESE BASKETBALL REGISTRATION
St. Therese basketball will be holding registration for the 2018-2019 season. We field teams for girls and boys, grades 3-8. Second graders are welcome on a space available ba-sis. Players must be students of the Academy of St. Therese or students in our parish CCD program to be eligible to play. Teams generally practice 2x/week, with games against neighboring parishes through the Archdiocese CYO league.
Registration will be held in the St. Therese gymnasium: October 7 – 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm October 11 – 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm October 14 – 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm
