Registration is important when it comes to requesting the Sacra-ments or becoming involved in the life of the Parish Family. Do you receive envelopes? It could be you’re not registered. If you would like to become a mem-ber, receive envelopes, or need to update your ad-dress and/or phone number, you can call the church office at 216-252-2626 or drop a note in the collec-tion basket. To report any past or present sus-pected inappropriate behavior toward children by priests, deacons, religious, lay ecclesial ministers or personnel associated with the Church, please con-tact the Diocesan Response Service Office at 216-334-2999 or via email at response [email protected]. You are also asked to immediately inform local authorities about inappro-priate behavior. COLLECTION FOR CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY The Catholic University of America is the national university of the Catholic Church in the United States, located in Washington, D.C. It provides an academically rigorous education guided by Catholic intellectual tradition to nearly 7,000 students every year. Many from our diocese directly receive scholar-ship aid from this Collection. Please be generous this weekend, January 16th and 17th.

St. Vincent de Paul Church Cleveland, Ohio

Dear Parish Family, This weekend, I wanted to extend to you an invi-tation. I wanted to extend to each of you an invitation to consider becoming part of our Parish Pastoral Council. The Parish Pastoral Council is a group of parishioners who assist me in the tasks of discerning the vision and goals for our parish, helping to con-tinue to move our parish forward. These parishioners are not meant to be the people who do everything, but are rather meant to serve as a representative voice of our larger parish family, working with me and helping me as I seek to do my best in leading 2 parish families. Currently we have 4 parishioners who, along with Deacon Ken, meet with me on a monthly basis from September—May. We are always open to and look-ing for another voice or two to be part of our Council. There are no special qualifications other than con-tinue moving forward. Accepting the invitation to join Parish Pastoral Council is not a lifetime commitment either. Members of the Parish Pastoral Council serve for a 1-2 year term and may stay on for another year or two after that if they so choose. Other than the monthly meetings (currently the last Monday of the month) there isn’t a large amount of extra work in-volved. Parish Pastoral Council members are not the uber-volunteers who do everything for us, but who help me and us in the invaluable task of discerning the way forward. Please consider the invitation to become a part of our Parish Pastoral Council. If you are at all inter-ested, please reach out and let me know. We are seeking to keep our Council around 7 people, so if we get more interest than that we will add new mem-bers on a rotating basis. Please consider answering this important call! Have a blessed week! —Fr. John 2021 RELIGIOUS ART CALENDARS Are available at the entrances of the church. The calendars are supplied to us through the generosity of Corrigan-Craciun Funeral Homes and Slone & Co. Funeral Directors.
