National Policy Statement on Sexual Abuse

Take a moment to read through these policies, found in the Tools menu of the

course and take notes on the types of information found in each. At the end of

the course, you will be asked to sign the acknowledgment at the end of the

Code of Conduct.

Lesson 2: Risks of Using Social Media

In this lesson, you read about bad things that can happen with social media and

electronic communication.

Have you heard of any similar situations happening in your community? Have

you heard stories of minors using social media improperly, for instance to bully

or to sext?

Lesson 3: Managing Social Media at the Salvation Army

In this lesson, you learned about guidelines for using social media and

electronic communication that are designed to protect minors and Salvation

Army personnel.
