An award ceremony will be held on November 5 @ 5:00 PM for the best posters as determined by the Judging Panel. Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and must be prepared using standard word processing software (Microsoft Word is preferred). All authors’ names and affiliations should be listed immediately following the title. Tables and figures should be included in the “Results” section. Please include the corresponding author’s name, address, and contact information. TARGET AUDIENCE This meeting is intended for all nuclear medicine physicians, scientists, physicists, technologists, and nursing professionals.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES1. Discuss the concepts of quality and safety as they apply to Nuclear Medicine.2. Discuss the assessment of therapy response and its applications in Oncology.3. List PET radiopharmaceuticals used for the assessment of neuroendocrine tumors.4. Discuss the concept of theranostics and its usefulness with prostate cancer detection and treatment. 5. Discuss the clinical applications of 4D CT.6. Discuss the benefits and challenges of appropriate use criteria decision support tools and the future practice in Nuclear Medicine.7. Identify interesting findings that may be visualized on a PET imaging study.8. Identify interesting findings that may be visualized on a SPECT study.9. Discuss clinical applications of SPECT/CT and PET/CT for infection/inflammation imaging.10. Discuss PET amino acid imaging in the detection of prostate cancer. 11. Discuss the use of C-11 Choline for the re-staging of prostate cancer.12. Discuss the new developments in imaging and therapy for lung CA in 2016.13. Discuss the use of PET for breast cancer management.14. Discuss the various applications of Cardiac PET including myocardial blood flow quantitation and detection or cardiac sarcoidosis, 15. Identify artifacts and errors that may be visualized on a cardiac PET study. 16. Discuss the use of patient-centered protocols to reduce radiation exposure.

NUCLEAR MEDICINE TECHNOLOGISTS: VOICE CATEGORY A CREDITS The SNMMI, through its Verification of Involvement in Continuing Education (VOICE) program, has approved this meeting to offer continuing education hours (CEHs), final hour count TBD closer to the meeting. VOICE-approved credit is recognized by most licensure states and by the NMTCB and ARRT as Category A credit. Participants will receive CE credit for those sessions at which they were present a minimum of 80% of the session.

PHYSICIAN: CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATIONThis activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, Inc. (SNMMI) and the New England and Greater New York Chapters, SNMMI. The SNMMI is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

SELF-ASSESSMENT MODULE (SAM) CREDITSIn addition to CME credits, physician attendees will have the opportunity to earn SAM credits. Physicians must attend the entire session to earn SAM credits and complete the post-activity online assessment.
