PROGRAMS
Personal Training at the YMCA is hands on, one-on-one per-sonal interaction, with direct instruction that focuses on achieving realistic, but challenging goals. Whether you are a professional athlete or have never exercised before, a YMCA Personal Trainer will design individualized workout sessions that cater to your current fitness level and experience.
Intro to Personal Training Package:
Not sure if Personal Training is right for you? Try out our introductory
package, which offers 3 personal training sessions, a nutrition
coaching session and initial body measurement. This package is limited
to first time personal training participants, and one package per
member. Valued at $270, this is a great way to start your health and
wellness journey.
Cost: $200
One-On-One Personal Training: Get the support you need from a certified YMCA Personal Trainer who
will set up, monitor and modify your exercise program to meet your in-
dividual needs. Sessions are one hour or thirty minutes in length. See

Nutrition Coaching: At YMCA we believe that practical improvements to your daily routines will lead to healthy eating for life. Work one on one with our Registered Dietitians to achieve your personal nutrition and wellness goals. Whether you're looking to lose weight, or need nutritional guidance for managing a health concern, our dietitians can provide the information and encouragement you need to get on track for a healthier lifestyle. Everyone is welcome. The YMCA of Greater Seattle strengthens communities in King and south Snohomish counties through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Financial assistance is available.
Fitness Assessment
This 60 minute fitness assessment session includes two parts. The first
part is body composition analysis, measuring weight, body fat percentage,
and circumference measurements. The second part of the assessment will
test cardiovascular fitness, flexibility, mobility, balance and strength.
Completing the fitness assessment will give you a great idea of where your
fitness level is now and where there is room for improvement!
Cost: $30
Small Group Training
Small Group Training or “SGT” takes the personalized design of
working with a personal trainer and combines it with the community
and team aspect of a group exercise class. Your session will involve
no more than 6 individuals and is led by one of our nationally
certified personal trainers, who will guide you through various
exercise modalities based on the session theme. SGT can be custom
created for you and your friends, or join one of our 4 week session
offerings! $88 for 4 weeks of one time a week training.
