S I G N O R S A S S I Signor Sassi, established in 1982 in the heart of Knightsbridge is one of London’s iconic Italian restaurants.
Signor Sassi went on to attract film stars, political figures, royal families and business leaders from around
the world. Originally a Tuscan inspired menu and has now taken on southern influences from Sicily and
Calabria after Carlo Distefano acquired the restaurant in 2007.
Since the acquisition the restaurant has gone from strength to strength doubling its turnover and re igniting
the special place that is Signor Sassi.
Its success has led to openings in Kuwait, Beirut and Bangkok. It has carried on its tradition in these
countries attracting Royal families, business leaders and political figures.

The first San Carlo restaurant was opened in Birmingham in 1992. It now has sites in Manchester,
Liverpool, Bristol, Leicester and Leeds. It has become one of the most famous Italian restaurant
brands outside of London.
San Carlo has a varied menu offering everything from lobster & caviar to pizza and pasta.
It is often reported in national press due to its popularity with celebrities and sports stars.

Based upon the venetian style of eating, San Carlo cicchetti took the idea to a new level representing
dishes from all around Italy.
With restaurants in Manchester and London it has become a huge success.
Serving a seasonal menu of small dishes it is exciting and informal. Open for breakfast lunch and
dinner Cicchetti succeeds in high footfall areas and has now become the the focus for growth in the
forthcoming years.

FUMO is a stunning, new concept cocktail bar, restaurant and late lounge with locations in Manchester and
Birmingham, serving small dishes of freshly prepared Venetian tapas known as Cicchetti (pronounced chi-
KET-tee),and typically representing the many regions of Italy and its islands.
The stunning, sweeping bar serves a choice of more than 50 innovative cocktails and as the evening
progresses, the ambiance turns into a late lounge atmosphere with live music adding to the always
buzzing atmosphere.

In 2010 San Carlo Group acquired the renowned Flying Pizza in Roundhay, Leeds.
A hugely successful restaurant for more than 35 years, during the 90’s Flying Pizza was the chosen haunt for
local celebrities and high profile diners across the region.
Following its takeover of the Street Lane premises, San Carlo Group retained the Flying Pizza name and
undertook a lavish refurbishment including updating menus and creating new dishes.
Flying Pizza offers outstanding regional Italian cuisine served by an all Italian team.

With a nod to the popular and critical success of the group’s award winning Cicchetti restaurants in
Manchester and London, San Carlo bottega is a chic, contemporary restaurant, champagne and cocktail bar
which serves expertly crafted small plate dishes, this time influenced by the Mediterranean flavours of Italy
and Southern France.
An all-day-dining, seasonal menu includes original and classic seafood, meat, pasta, pizza and salad
specialities, drawing on culinary styles and ingredients which perfectly complement one another. A
spectacular, marble feature bar offers a select range of wine, champagne, prosecco and a cocktail menu
designed to suit all tastes. Diners are able to call in for a bite to eat and a glass of wine or champagne at the
feature bar or take a table and enjoy a relaxed yet stylish dining experience. Created using fresh, natural
colours and elegant furnishings, the restaurant’s floor to ceiling windows offer unparalleled views of
Exchange Square.

Gran Cafe is the second exclusive dining concept from San Carlo Group for Selfridges. Offering relaxed
dining in a stylish, contemporary setting, Gran Cafe serves an enticing European café style menu which
includes all day speciality brunches, signature mains, sandwiches, cold plates, salads, afternoon tea, freshly
baked cakes, pastries, and a range of decadent coupes and gelato.
Diners are able to call in, without a reservation, for a hot dish, all-day brunch, a cream or champagne
afternoon tea or a slice of cake and luxury home-made ice cream, all served with a choice of fine wines,
champagnes, spirits, speciality teas and coffees and soft drinks.

Named after the region of Florence famed for its steak recipes, San Carlo Fiorentina is an elegant restaurant
and bar concept situated in Hale, an affluent district of Cheshire. Serving spectacular signature seafood,
meat and pasta dishes which the group has become renowned for, Fiorentina also features a special Robata
grill menu with prime cuts of meat, such as aged beef cooked over wood-fired open flames, a style of cooking
which greatly enhances flavour. An expertly stocked wine, champagne and cocktail menu completes the offer.
