Even though it is designed to perfectly fi t his personal needs (special custom neck measurements, unique pickup position...) everybody feels familiar with it from the start. With a colour exclusively developed for this model, a special aging and blockinlays it is eye candy deluxe, too! the 3 arts of agingHardcore Aged Masterpiece

Hier wird der Bass so authentisch gealtert, dass selbst Sachverständige dreimal hinschauen müssen. Korpus und Hals weisen die Patina der letzten 30 Jahre auf, die Pickup-Abdeckungen tragen deutliche Spuren der Saitenschläge. Am Hals ist die Rückseite bis aufs Holz abgegriffen. Auf dem Griffbrett sind unübersehbare Einbuchtungen und Abschürfungen zwischen den Saiten zu sehen. Der Korpus sieht aus, als hätte der Bass einen Großteil seines Lebens mit Stage-Diving verbracht.

Die Masterpiece-Instrumente haben ihren eigenen, verruchten Charme - die Arbeit an Ihnen fi ndet mit voller Hingabe und Liebe bis zum kleinsten Kratzer statt, so dass der Bass bei Auslieferung tatsächlich eine eigene Geschichte im Herzen trägt - was ihn zum Unikat macht. Alle Masterpiece-Instrumente werden zusätzlich über einen langen Zeitraum eingeschwungen, was einen deutlichen Klanggewinn mit sich bringt. Der klingt dann auch wie 30 Jahre alt. – „old school“ in Reinkultur. In Sachen Aging nicht zu toppen.

These basses are so authentically aged that even experts have to take a third look. Body and neck show the patina of the past 30 years, the fretboard and pickup covers have marks from the strings, on the backside of the neck the coating has been played off down to the wood and the body looks like it has been stage-diving the major part of its live.

When creating a Masterpiece there is so much passion and love for even the smallest detail involved that in the end every instrument has a story of its own in its “soul”. This makes them all unique. All Masterpiece build instruments are getting a long time vibration treatment to improve the sound quality. It does not only look like but also sounds like a 30 year old, well played instrument. Pure, authentic old school! When it comes to aging, there is nothing better.

Soft Aged

Leicht gebraucht, einige Kratzer und kleinere Lack-schäden und Abwetzungen - etwa wie nach 10 Jahren gepfl egter, aber präsenter Bühnenbenutzung.

Slightly worn, some scratches and minor damages, 10 years of careful presence on stage.

Hardcore Aged

Hart rangenommenes Instrument, reichlich Kratzer, Abschürfungen, kaum restaurierbar. Die Metallteile sind sympathisch angelaufen - eine echte Rampensau mit 20 Jahren Bühnenerfahrung.

Heavily played, worn and torn surface, nicely tarnished metal parts, a true player with 20 years of on stage experience.

In designing Florence we melted several traditional guitar models into one shape.
