Idler Gears An idler gear is a gear that is

inserted between two other gears.

Idler gears do not affect the gear

ratio between the input and output

gears. The gear ratio would be

computed just the same if there were

no idler gear.

An idler gear is a small gear that

does not change the speed and

direction of a rotation. An idler gear

is placed in between two transfer

motions that move between them in

a loosely way on a shaft against a

belt.

Cluster Gear Sanraj Forging & Engineering

Raised Face Flanges

The raised faces have a prescribed texture

to increase their gripping and retaining

force on this flat gasket. Some users of

raised face flanges specify the use of spiral

wound gaskets.

These gaskets may often have an inner

ring on their I.D. and an outer disc around

their O.D. This feature will hold the gasket

concentric with the bolt circle and bore to

make precise assembly easier with the

gasket centered on the flange sealing

Speed Gears Sanraj Forging & Engineering

Speed Gears consists of highly pre-

engineered gear units for "High

Ratio" applications, such as motor to

compressor and turbine to generator

drives.

rating methods, Optimized tooth

corrections, Precise bearing

calculation verified on bearing tests,

adapted to application bearing

geometry and less shaft deformation

due to optimized bearing spans.

Gear Blanks Dies are prepared by special steels

like hot work tool steels and suitably

heat treated to have proper

hardness and toughness so that the

dies can be capable of pressing hot

metal without any deformation in

the die during forging.

RBD Forging

RBD Forging can produce a

piece that is stronger than an

equivalent cast or machined

part. As the metal is shaped

during the forging process, its

internal grain deforms to follow

the general shape of the part.

As a result, the grain is

continuous throughout the part,

giving rise to a piece with

improved strength

characteristics.
