Experience one of northern
New Mexico’s most awe-inspiring
cultural attractions, featuring unique
cliff and cave dwellings. For more than
three centuries – beginning in the late
1100s – the Puye Cliffs were home
to 1,500 Pueblo Indians who lived,
farmed and hunted game in the area.
These inhabitants are ancestors of the
present-day Santa Clara Pueblo people.
Knowledgeable guides lead your group
on an exploration, going inside the
enigmatic dwellings, as well as the mesa
complex. Afterwards, enjoy a traditional
