Solution in Focus – OSA Optimizer

•Worldwide average level of out-of-stock (OOS) on shelves in retail stores is 8%

•True physical inventory data from the shelves is the most important data source for analytics systems that attempt to fix the OOS issue and to guarantee on-shelf availability (OSA)

•Conventional merchandizing processes and labor constraints limit the OSA inventory measurements to a small and often irrelevant statistical sample

•Incorrect and/or insufficient OSA feedback to analytics and replenishment systems perpetuates the OOS situations without correction.

Business Context

•OSA Optimizer offers an effective way to achieve comprehensive and more frequent physical inventory checks feeding inventory correction data real-time into the retail analytics systems to predict and prevent OOS achieving higher on-shelf availability

Solution Description

•Cloud-based OSA HANA Database

•Mobile Application for In-store Scanning

•Analytics Engine integrated with OSA HANA database

Solution Components

•FMCG Manufacturers

•Retail Stores and Merchandizers Target
