Under the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) all local educat ional agencies (LEAs) are required toprepare a Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), which describes how they intend to meet annual school-specific goals for all pupils, w ith specific act ivit ies toaddress state and local priorit ies. DataQuest is an online data tool located on the CDE DataQuest web page at https://dq.cde.ca.gov/dataquest/ that contains addit ional information about thisschool and comparisons of the school to the district and the county. Specifically, DataQuest is a dynamic system that provides reports for accountability (e.g., testdata, enrollment, high school graduates, dropouts, course enrollments, staffing, and data regarding English learners).
Internet access is available at public libraries and other locat ions that are publicly accessible (e.g., the California State Library). Access to the Internet at librariesand public locat ions is generally provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Other use restrict ions may include the hours of operat ion, the length of t ime that aworkstat ion may be used (depending on availability), the types of software programs available on a workstat ion, and the ability to print documents.

Granite Mountain Charter School ensures parents, legal guardians, and teachers have an opportunity to part icipate in governance of the school. Some of thevot ing members of the board of directors are nominated by parents/guardians. The parent representat ives provide insight of students and families as it is relatedto program planning, design, and implementat ion. Parents/guardians assist w ith field trips, community events, and other school related act ivit ies. Parentsat isfact ion surveys are provided electronically to all parents annually in the spring. The surveys are developed specifically to assess parent input on effect iveness ofall aspects of the school from their perspect ive, related to their experience. The results of the survey are reviewed along w ith information on programeffect iveness from variety of in-house assessments such as student and staff engagement surveys, summative and formative assessment data. Survey results areshared w ith families and community. In addit ion, the school has partnered w ith local community organizat ions and businesses to provide educat ional workshops,and outreach that enrich the students’ educat ional experience.
