Robin Highcock
Robin Highcock was born in 1958 and read music at Royal Holloway College, University of London. He has written music since the age of 14, and has composed and enjoyed the performance of a great range of music: choral, instrumental, sacred and secular. His works include concertos for solo violin, two violins and cello, symphonic poems, such as The Sound of Barra and Gradara, chamber symphonies, and chamber music including a set of six string quartets. His vocal music includes masses in both Latin and English, motets and liturgical music, choral and orchestral cantatas and songs. Highcock has taught music and when not composing is Director of Music in the Godolphin School in Salisbury, UK. He is married with three children.
