Deliver 4 satellite TV carriers over fiber Thor LTTH systems deliver entire satellite TV programing lineups over a single fiber cable. Designed to carry 4 or more RF polarities, LTTH can be customized to include additional carriers and services. The standard configuration LB41 system is illustrated. For most content Application Drawing: DWDM + EDFA = FTTx Providers, LB41 provides enough capacity. More premium content providers might require up to 6 coax feeds from the antenna, this would require an LB61 system. Thor LTTH transmitters convert the RF signal from the antenna coax lines into DWDM compatible laser outputs. These optical signals are combined internally with DWDM passive combiners. The combined optical signal can be inserted directly to an optical amplifier, or EDFA. It can also be used directly for point to point links, or for distribution through a 1x16 PLC coupler. Every LTTH system is different, and many options exist. Thor offers free design and consultation service for integration with GPON and internet service over fiber systems. • Satellite TV over fiber subscriber units

Thor LTTH optical receivers are designed for low cost

implementation of satellite TV over fiber L-Band to the

home (LTTH). Thor LTTH combines multiple RF signals

delivered over coax to a single fiber optic cable. These low

cost subscriber units are designed to convert the fiber

signal back to the original coax connectors needed for the

providers equipment. Unlike a satellite multiswitch, LTTH

delivers the entire programming lineup to every subscriber

end point. This is equivalent to every subscriber having a Satellite antenna at their location. Thor LTTH equipment is transparent to the satellite TV provider, and only one master

antenna is needed for an entire community. No agreements or contracts are needed between the system operator (You) and

the satellite TV provider. Thor LTTH allows developers and property managers to eliminate all residential satellite antennas

without eliminating satellite TV service as an option to the tenants. In addition to the standard 4 channel LB41 configuration,

LTTH is also available in custom configurations. Terrestrial TV frequency carriers (45-900MHz) can also be incorporated into

the design. This optionally allows delivery of cable TV or FTA programming in addition to satellite TV. Every fiber to the home

system is different, contact Thor today for free design and consultation services.
