Felix Francis is the younger son of literary legend, Dick Francis. Over the last 30 years of the twentieth

upon Felix’s knowledge and experience as a physicist and his

past as an international marksman.

With the publication of “Dead Heat” in 2007, Felix took on a more significant role in writing and “Crossfire” was the novel Dick and Felix were working on

when Dick sadly died in 2010, marking the end of one chapter and

the beginning of another. Since then, Felix has continued the

The Mystery of Mr. E a murder mystery musical!

Book and lyrics by Sophie Hannah

Music by Annette Armitage

A Scene Zero Production

Saturday 8th June 2.30pm & 7.30pm Southwold Arts Centre

John Danes, a ‘generalist’ who does all sorts of strange jobs for all kinds of peculiar people, is about to set off to Idlewyld House when a strange man knocks at his door. This stranger knows John is expected at Idlewyld House,

but he won’t say how he knows. When asked who he is, he says only ‘I am the murderer', and then he disappears.

Arriving at Idlewyld House, John asks if he has been invited there to solve a murder, and is assured that nothing of the sort has happened. Then one of the

other guests is found dead at the foot of the stairs...

The Mystery of Mr E is a family-friendly murder mystery musical, containing a serious puzzle and

thirteen catchy songs. Think Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap meets Tim Minchin’s Matilda!
