Dear Friends in Christ,
As summer draws to a close we look ahead
to a busy autumn of programs and activities.
Family Fun Day is September 11 from 12-4.
We still need volunteers for set up, clean up
and to help out at the event. Family Fun Day
will include food, games for kids, raffle baskets,
religious education registration and a ministry
fair. Join us for a great afternoon of fellowship!
Religious Education begins September 26th
for Grades 1-10. We are in need of a Fifth
Grade catechist and several substitute
catechists. Training is available.
We will begin hosting Family Sundays at the
end of September. Once a month we will be
having a Mass geared towards children
followed by fellowship, teaching and activities
in the parish hall. Several parishioners have
formed a team to plan for these events. If you
would like to join us, we could gratefully use
your talents!
R.C.I.A. continues in the parish. We have
several children, teenagers and 1 adult who are
currently preparing to receive the Sacraments
of Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. If you
or someone you know would like to enter the
Catholic Church or complete their Christian
initiation, please see Fr. Michael.
We ask God's blessing upon all children as
they return to school that this year may
increase in them knowledge and character. We
pray also for all of our families that their faith
in Christ may be vibrant and strong.
In Christ
Fr. Michael
