2 AMERICAN SOCIETY OF INTERVENTIONAL PAIN PHYSICIANS

FROM THE COURSE DIRECTOR

On behalf of the Board of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians

(ASIPP®), it is our privilege and pleasure to invite you to attend either one or both of

our first courses of the year. They include a Cadaver Workshop (Basic, Intermediate,

and ABIPP Preparation) with online lectures and Ultrasound for Non-Spinal

Injections. The courses will run February 27 through March 1, 2015 in Las Vegas at

The Venetian and the state-of-the-art Oquendo Center .

These courses meet the continuing needs of interventionalists, based on input and needs assessment

over the years and are cutting edge educational programs. They incorporate didactic courses and

hands-on workshops covering various interventional techniques to enhance the knowledge and/or

skill-level of the participants.

On the first day, the comprehensive review course and hands-on workshop in Ultrasound for Non-spinal

Injections is designed to provide interventional pain physicians with the ability to understand

fluoroscopic interpretation and appropriate needle placement. This one day course is an essential

component for interventional pain physicians and provides education opportunities to assist you in

providing high-quality, competent, safe, accessible, and cost-efficient services to your patients.

Starting the second day will be a Cadaver Workshop fashioned to accommodate training levels

and capacity of participants. Physicians can choose from basic, intermediate, or ABIPP examination

preparation course levels to mirror your needs and skill level. As part of the Cadaver Workshop, there

are online lectures specific to your chosen course level, which should enhance the learning experience.

Lectures are given by highly qualified ASIPP faculty members and each lecture presentation can be

downloaded as future reference material.

Both courses provide necessary CME credits and/or an in-depth review of interventional techniques.

Participants will experience a comprehensive and intense learning opportunity focused on meeting

their needs at the highest level of medical education. Participants will also benefit from the camaraderie

and experience of individual physicians across the United States.

Whether you have been practicing interventional pain management for many years or are new to the

field with basic skills, we are confident you will find this course and cadaver workshop to be beneficial,

as it is essential to learn new and relevant information to survive in the new millennium. Our faculty

consists of renowned experts in the field of interventional techniques. We trust you will be as excited as

we are about this exceptional opportunity for professional enhancement.

We look forward to seeing you in Las Vegas. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the

ASIPP office at 81 Lakeview Drive, Paducah, KY 42001, phone: 270-554-9412, fax: 270-554-5394, or e-mail:
