NEW DELHI, Oct 16: Government today asked pensioners and family pension- ers to furnish their 'Life Certificate' in the prescribed pro-forma in November every year to their respective banks. "The pensioners should indi- cate their present address, tele- phone numbers (including mobile number) and email ID (if avail- able) on their respective Life Certificates in order to enable banks to provide them (pension- ers) better services," the Finance Ministry said in a statement. Banks make pension pay- ments on behalf of the Government to the retired employees of Central and State Governments, Defence and Railways, and others.
