Training At Saudi Hydro
We believe that quality equipment and thorough training is very vital for continuous
improvement. Our commitment to safety and training is reflected in our job and consistently
maintain improved work standard. Saudi Hydro has made investment in training its men to
handle specialized activities.
The men are trained in the respective work categories to achieve high degree of safety and
quality. Saudi Hydro has subsequently developed its own training and safety program to

Vacuuming Services and Waste Disposal Our High Airflow Vacuum machines are highly specialized vehicles capable of uplifting
and handling solids, liquids, sludge’s, dry powders and filter media. High airflow vacuum

Aqua Milling Services for Pipelines and De-Blocking Of Tubes Over time, pipes and tubes used to carry process may become blocked by due to the
residual deposits, process errors or formation of sediment, which may lead to plant
shutdown. In such a critical situation, Saudi hydro can offer the most effective technology
for clearing the pipes or tubes using the aqua milling methodology.
Aqua Milling is a specialized internal pipe cleaning method using high density impact of
water without additives. Aqua milling has proven to be the most efficient method to
remove hard scales/deposits/foreign materials, which are trapped inside the pipelines.
Saudi Hydro can provide the most effective cleaning using our HVHP pumps, which can
deliver up to 198 liters/ min at 15,000 psi of discharge pressure. These high volume high
pressure pumps contributed the major part in our successful stories in the past decades.
Taking the aqua milling technology to a lighter scale, Saudi hydro can clean/ deblock any
blocked tubes of varying sizes. For the deblocking of tubes, the amount of discharge from
the high pressure pump is reduced and the discharge pressure is raised.

In situations where a risk of hydrocarbons being present rules out any hot cutting, Saudi
Hydro have the absolute safest method of hydrocold cutting where water acts as the cutting
tool.
We have been providing high precision hydrocold cutting services for the past two decades
in the kingdom, which is the safest, faster, accurate, environmentally friendly. Cold cutting
is often used for the demolition of plant facilities, bottom plates removal of process storage
tanks like crude oil or flammable materials storage tanks, providing access to tanks and
columns, removing refractory; both internal and external, concrete cutting and scrabbling.

Hydro Demolition of Bridges, Foundations, Floors Using Robotic Technology
Hydro demolition is an efficient and favorite means of removing delaminated or unsound
concrete from structure all over the world
One of the main reason for this is that the high pressure jetting techniques available today
are much more efficient and economical than conventional chipping
The Hydro-demolition method of concrete removal is non-vibration and does not
affect existing structure, unlike other conventional methods such as jack
hammering etc.
No damage to existing reinforcement, leaving a perfect skeletal frame to replace
the new concrete.
No micro or macro cracks develop during demolition.
Hydro demolition leaves the existing concrete surface with perfect bond criteria,
which is ideal for replacing new concrete materials such as shotcrete mix,
premixed flow able materials or conventional concrete pouring.
No airborne dust or contaminates like other conventional method of demolition.

Automated Tank Cleaning System
Saudi Hydro’s automatic tank cleaning technology removes deposits including hardened
materials from tank internal walls at pressures of up to 15,000 psi. The units operate using
the power of high pressure water so no other energy sources or extra cleaning materials
are necessary. The wide range of nozzles are with various lengths and shapes that enable
the cleaners to be use for many applications. Units can be fitted with one or two arms.
Because entry into vessels can be tricky or hazardous, we use 3-D water blast nozzles high
volume pump that can eliminate the need to "go in". This technology rotates two jets of
water at 90 degrees to each other, to effectively clean an entire vessel. This makes the
jobsite far less complicated, because there is no need for a hole watch or to have rescue
personnel on standby during the operation.
The nozzle arms rotate due to the reaction force of the water jets emitting from the nozzles
mounted at each end. This rotation motion is transferred via a built-in drive and reduction
gear, which in turn, rotates the cleaner around its axis. By rotating on two axes, the water
jets can reach all parts of the tank interior. Speed of rotation is controlled by an adjustable
induction brake magnet.

Surface Preparation
Ultra High pressure water blasting is simply the most productive, economical way to achieve
the surface you need for good coating adhesion, while fully respecting the environment.
Saudi hydro’s water jetting quickly removes coatings, rust, and other tough adherents
without the hazards of grit blasting. The resulting surface meets all recognized standards
(including the WJ-1 or “white metal” specification of NACE No. 5 and SSPCSP-12, and SIS
Sa-3).
Water jetting is also the only way to meet the SC-2 standard for removing soluble salts,
which hamper adhesion and often lead to coating failure. During grit blasting, these salts
are often trapped in cavities within the metal. However, ultra-high pressure (up to 40,000
psi, or 2,800 bar) water jetting cleans deeply enough to prevent these invisible “corrosion
cells” from forming, and even restores the surface’s original profile.
Saudi Hydro’s advanced remote system also gives the productivity of grit blasting without
the expense, hazards and clean-up problems. Its vacuum recovery feature not only
simplifies disposal, but also leaves a clean, dry surface — free of flash rusting and ready to
recoat.
