the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." - Margaret Mead
The Event
Following the amazing success of the ‘Rampant Run’, I am finalising details of
another amazing challenge. This will involve 18 runners plus many
celebrities taking part in a gruelling 262 mile relay run from Paignton to
Leicester Tigers RFC via Exeter Chiefs, Bath RFC, Gloucester RFC and
Northampton Saints RFC, where we will be joined by Legends of English rugby.
Endorsements “Please support the run from Paignton to Leicester‘ for ‘Save the Children’. A huge challenge of 260
miles in a non stop relay carrying a rugby ball, from 18th-20th February 2015. ‘Save the Children is a wonderful charity who do fabulous work and they need support from
activities such as this in order to publicise and aid those children in poverty both overseas (in such places as Africa and the Phillipines)together with those who live in the United Kingdom. It is
important that we play our part in making poverty a thing of the past and that children in the UK and throughout the world have a future. Good luck to the team of runners!

• This event will be massive and bigger than the
‘Rampant Run’, with much National exposure
from television, Radio and national and local
press.
The Charity.
• Like everyone else, it is devastating to see
the children of the UK and Africa in such a
state of hunger and poverty and it is
something that we cannot accept. There is no
excuse for it and we have to play our part.
• "You will find, as you look back on your life, that the moments that stand out are the moments when you have done things for others." - Henry Drummond
• As a result, I am asking for your support for our journey through Company Sponsorship ,School fundraising and through Celebrity participation through all or part of the run.
• I wish to raise over £50,000 for this cause in the hope to reduce poverty and stop the images we see as the following slides show. We desperately want to raise as much money as we can and any help and support will be greatly appreciated

HELP CHILDREN IN THE UK
Right now, in Britain, too many children are lacking the basic essentials they need. Many are going to bed hungry because they can’t get a decent hot meal, or are going to school tired because they don’t have a proper bed to sleep on. This is the reality faced by 1.6 million children in the UK who are growing up in severe poverty. It shouldn’t happen here, but you can do something to help. Together we can make sure children like Sam get a better deal. Across Britain Save The Children are giving families the basics they lack. They help to make sure children are properly fed, warm enough and get a good night’s sleep, and that they have the best possible start in education. Simple things that make all the difference. Please help support our work here at home and help us give every child in the UK the chance of a better future.
