What Are Rainforests?• A lush green habitat full of life• Rainforests are homes to over 1 million plants, birds,
animals, trees, and many other life forms• Its one of our main resources for food we eat, things we
need , and medicine we use to cure people• Rainforests act as the world’s thermostat by regulating
temperatures and weather patterns
Who lives there?• Many creatures like Three-toed-sloths, Macaws, Iguanas, Carver Ants, and Jaguars
• The natives who have small towns and villages deep in the jungle, live there and protect what they can of the rainforest
What is happening to it?• The rainforest is slowly but surely disappearing • Every second, a slice of rainforest the size of a football field
is mowed down. That’s 86,400 football fields of rainforest per day, or over 31 million football fields of rainforest each year
• Within 40 years from now the rainforest wont even hardly exist

What will helping do?• Helping the rainforest will keep our earth cleaner, regulate temperature and
help produce more clouds which can in turn reduce the risk of Global Warming. • Not only will it help you and others, it will help the natives and the animals who
need it most
