This extreme close up of the man shows us in detail what his facial expression is like. As you can see the frown lines on his face, it shows how he is scared, as though is his shaking as well. Due to being frightened.

This extreme close up shows how he has been kept hostage, by a big cuff and chain being attached onto his ankle. This allows us to see him attempting to take it off, as you hear the chains rattling.

This Medium shot emphasizes how there is no sign of escape. Adam’s facial expression shows that he is screaming and in in desperate need to be set free.

This low angle shows the significance of the ‘new clock’, as it suggests that someone must of wanted Adam and Lawrence to know the time. Which may also be a clue to what may happen later on in the film. Also the diegetic sound of the time ticking may connote that time is running out.
