Easy Organization:Corral Your Cards
It seems like almost every storehas a rewards card. Here is an easyway to keep them together and tidy:Save only the smaller key cards andput them all on a key ring separatefrom your car or house keys. Thiscollection will fit easily in a pocket orpurse. If you only have the full-sizecards, you can add them to the ringafter punching a hole in one corner.Be sure not to punch through a barcode or magnetic strip.
Waiting for the WeathermanBe patient while waiting for the
groundhog to pop out for its annualweather prediction on Feb. 2. Therodents’ dens can be up to 6 feetdeep and wind more than 20 feetunderground.
It’s OK to Say ‘No’If too much socializing is straining
your budget, you might need tocut down on how often you go out.Don’t feel bad about declining aninvitation and staying home moreoften. You can’t be expected to sayyes to everything when you havelimited resources.
Best Times for aDoctor’s Appointment
For general checkups, expertsadvise scheduling doctor visits firstthing in the morning or right afterlunch, when doctors are more likely tobe on time. Also, avoid Mondays andFridays, which tend to be the busiestdays at doctors’ offices.
