Lender Portal Overview

The Portal provides:

Historical context of lender performance (9 quarters)

Peer group historical performance for

comparative assessments

Portfolio benchmarks and the PARRiS scorecard

Forecasted Purchase Rates and the Business Bureau

Stats on a lender and loan level

Current and historical small business credit scores

(SBPS) on a lender and loan level


SBA’s Lender Portal is a quantitative dashboard

provided by SBA, in partnership with Dun &

Bradstreet (D&B), to participant lender’s in both their 7(a) and 504 CDC loan

guarantee programs.

The tool’s objective is to help increase transparency

into SBA Office of Credit Risk Management’s

(OCRM’s) procedures and performance metrics that

are used in their procedures to monitor specific lender

behavior and emerging risk trends on a regular basis as well as in their risk based

reviews.

The Lender Portal ensures SBA participant lenders are provided with the tools necessary to gain a clear understanding of how SBA

monitors their performance and extremely useful portfolio management resources.

Log-in to the Lender Portal

1. Launch the Internet Browser to access the system.

2. In the Address line of the browser, type in: https://sbalenderportal.dnb.com

3. Enter Your User ID

4. Enter Your Password

5. Click “Log in” button

Navigate the Lender Portal


1. Click on “Home” button. 2. The following screen will appear. This enables user to search and navigate existing reports. 3. Enter the FIRS number or select from the drop down list. * 4. Click the “Select” button

* Only users who have multiple entries will be able to navigate from drop down list.

The following Lender Summary dashboard screen will appear. And LPR button can be used to navigate to the LPR page

The following LPR dashboard will appear when the LPR button is clicked.

1. On the header page, click Current Quarter. This enables user to view all the quarters.

2. This also enables users to navigate to any prior quarter.

3. Clicking on the arrows on either side of this enables user to move 1 quarter at a time.

1. When user hovers over the title on the section, it will display the definition.

1. Click on “Definitions File” link, and a pop-up window appears.

2. Click Open 3. The SBA

Lender Information Portal Field Definitions will appear.

4. User will be able to save it to PDF file

1. The Portal Definition will appear in a new window.

2. User will be able to open and save it to desktop.

Download Lender Report


1. User will be able to download the Current Quarter Loan Data or Download LRR.xls

2. The Current Quarter Loan contains loan level data

3. The Download.xls contains loan summary in addition to loans in previous quarters.

Download Lender Report


1. Click on “Download LRR.xls” link, and a pop-up window appears.

2. Click on “Open” button

3. The Summary Data will appear in excel spreadsheet

4. User will be able to save it to desktop.

Download Loan Report


1. User will be able to download the Current Quarter Loan Data or Download.xls

2. The Current Quarter Loan contains loan level data

3. The Download.xls contains loan summary in addition to loans in previous quarters.

1. Click on “Current Quarter Loan Data” link, and a pop-up window appears.

2. Click on “Open” button

3. The Current Quarter Loan Data will appear in excel spreadsheet

4. User will be able to save it to desktop.

Print a Report


1. Click on the “Print Friendly LRR” button. 2. By clicking on the button, it will open the linked report in a new browser window.

1. A pop-up will appear in Print Preview mode 2. Select “File” and “Print” and proceed as a normal print job on your local printer

Small Business Risk Portfolio Solution (SBRPS) Score


The SBRPS, commonly known as SBPS by the Small Business Administration community, counts by score range can be found on both the Lender Summary and the LPR Page. The percentages are based off of number of loans in each SBPS category. Furthermore, SBPS ranges can be found on the loan level report for each loan for the past year and make for a great portfolio management score.

Lender Purchase Rating


The Lender Purchase Rating and it’s the Rating Factors that determine a lender’s forecasted Purchase Rating and LPR can be found on the LPR page in the Lender Portal. All factors and ratings are provided historically for 9 quarters. Peer groups averages are also provided for additional context.

PARRiS Lender Risk Framework


The PARRiS Scorecard, including the 15 benchmarked rates and the 8 non-scored flags, can be found on the Lender Summary Page in the Lender Portal. All metrics and their corresponding score or flag are provided historically for 9 quarters. Peer groups averages are also provided for additional context.
