FELLOWSHIPS FOR YOUNG SCIENTISTSTHE SOCIETY OF BIOLOGICAL CHEMISTS (INDIA) HAS INSTITUTED “FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR RESEARCH” SCHEME TO SUPPORT YOUNG RESEARCH WORKERS TO CARRY OUT SHORT TERM TRAINING/RESEARCH ACTIVITIES IN WELL ESTABLISHED LABORATORIES/ INSTITUTIONS IN INDIA. THE VALUE OF THE FELLOWSHIP IS FIXED AT RS.5,000/- PER TERM PER SELECTED FELLOW, AND THE TOTAL NUMBER OF FELLOWSHIPS AWARDED EVERY YEAR WILL BE UP TO 10.

7. The application should be forwarded through the investigator-in-charge of the laboratory in which the candidate proposes to undergo training.
INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL FELLOWSHIPS
One travel fellowship of Rs.15,000/- per quarter (Two awards per year) will be awarded
The applicant should currently be a member of the SBC(I) and should have been a member for at least two consecutive years.
