Overview
The SC-8000 sets a new standard for rugged, reliable portable toxic gas detection. It's tough water proof design utilized features based on years of gas detection design experience, to assure that the instrument will operate perfectly in any situation to protect workers and property in all kinds of harsh gas detection applications.In addition to freely adjustable alarm levels, the SC-8000 configuration is very versatile due to the simple sensor replacement.Featuring an ATEX (Ex) intrinsic safe design, SC-8000 is a perfect tool for gas leak checks and industrial safety in toxic gas hazardous zones, (petro) chemical applications or the semiconductor industry.Additional features include the large LCD screen with real time display with ppm range, time, live
test and battery status. The display in addition to a loud and clear buzzer and 3 alarm LED's gives you full overview at all times so that alarm conditions are obvious from multiple perspectives, especially in high noise environments. The SC-8000 features a waterproof and dustproof design with IP67 rating for which the over-mold body is impact resistant and RFI shielded. Conse-quently, SC-8000 offers full protection while mini-mizing large instrument fleets because of its func-tionality.The built-in infrared port with standard datalogger gives you full control on storing, downloading and analyzing measurement data for perfect traceability.And because of the wide accessory range you can also customize the SC-8000 for special applications to fit your individual requirements.

The built-in data logger allows you to record up to 40 h of measurement data and save it to the internal memory. The optional data logger software is Windows© XP and Vista compatible for managing instrument fleets. Consequently, you can also transmit the data wirelesses by infrared to a PC to analyze prior hazardous situations.
