The frst page contains a red ribbon and a g&ld seal (as shown in attached picture) • It is a proo that a product has success ully passed all the tests according to the re erred !tandard"s Type Test

program (e#g# I$% xxxx)• Its technical drawings have been verifed and a visual inspection has been carried out• To receive this certifcate, the e&uipment tested must ulfll all the re&uirements o the standard and the

relevant ratings assigned by the manu acturer• '$ Type Test %ertifcates can be issued only i all relevant tests have been success ully per ormed at the

DNV GL l$ &r$t&ries

• *or utilities and networ+ operators, a gold '$ Type Test %ertifcate says the component meets allre&uirements o the standard and no urther e ort is needed to assess it

issued• Inspection .eports can cover a wide range o tests, and a one page summary is available on re&uest• 123 04 Inspectors ma+e sure that the testing e&uipment instruments are well calibrated as per standards and
