5 (SOLAR PV CONTROL SYSTEM) SCADA SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The SCADA (Solar PV Control) System proposed is based on iVisionmax. iVisionmax Solar is an advanced energy monitoring & control system covering typical SCADA functionality such as data acquisition, monitoring and control of the solar photovoltaic plants plus advanced features such as alarm generation, yield reports, performance ratios and operation and maintenance calendars which will provide the ideal and best in class tool to manage your solar photovoltaic plant.

A dynamic Solar Power Plant Control System, on iVisionmax platform is an essential, control for cost effective plant operation, especially in Solar Power plants where annual energy generation costs sum up to Cr of Rupees and even small improvement can have a dramatic impact on their bottom line. iVisionmax enables centralized control & operation from a single point. It incorporates all the basic features available in a high‐end Generation SCADA system.
The plant is modeled in such a way so the data acquired can range from only the most basic ones; such as meteorological data and energy production data to an exhaustive acquisition data scheme, where sensors are connected to the strings, to the input of the inverters and to all the switchgears of the plant, giving full visibility of the solar photovoltaic plant and enabling immediate reaction in the event of a fault.

iVisionmax Solar enables Data Monitoring, Electrical Control in a plant. Deployed hardware and iVisionmax Solar enable clear overview of the electrical network in the plant and provide means for monitoring and managing Load. Tight integration of all subsystems ensures system stability and helps avoid system collapse. (iVisionmax Solar in essence, is designed to be hierarchical, distributed, and modular based on internationally recognized "open" standards. The Redundant architecture used at the Central Control, incorporates computer and LAN redundancy. Failures at any levels of the system do not impact other levels. Open architecture allows easy upgrading to new technology, as it becomes available.
