  • Scan to SMBMAC Snow Leopard

    10.6.2

  • Go to system preferences.

    Click on Network.

  • Make sure it is running TCP/IP

    Take note of the IP address.

  • Go to SP and select sharing.

  • Tick file Sharing and double click if

    necessary; click on options

  • Tick Share files and folders using SMB; tick the user you want to scan to on

    the MAC as below:

  • Go to finder and select applications.

  • Find folder utilities and double click

    network utility.

  • Select port scan and input Ip address

    of your MAC, press scan

  • Make sure port 139 is open, this is

    your SMB port

  • Go to finder-desktop and create a folder called scans.

    Click on the cog and select get Info

  • Under general tick shared folder. Check the right user has the

    correct rights

  • Shared tick box

  • User rights

  • In the command center address book you need either the ip

    addr or the host name, to get the host name see below:

  • Setup in command centre is the same

    as widows.

  • Scanned docs in folder.
