A. I am currently a Senior Advisor in the Pricing, Design & Research group within SCE’s 9
Regulatory Affairs organization. I am primarily responsible for leading and coordinating 10
the development of Marginal Cost and Revenue Allocation studies to inform SCE’s Rate 11
Design efforts across various proceedings – most notably, SCE’s GRC Phase 2 12
Application. 13

A. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Real Estate, and Law from 15
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Prior to my current role, I was a Senior 16
Project Manager in the Regulatory Finance group within SCE’s Treasurers organization 17
where I was primarily responsible for developing and maintaining SCE’s Results of 18
Operations model, a key element of SCE’s General Rate Case, which is used to translate 19
business inputs like O&M and capital expenditures into the revenue requirement used to 20
engage the California Public Utilities Commission and other stakeholders. Prior to that, I 21
was a Financial Analyst at Edison International, SCE’s parent company, where I 22
supported various corporate functions including Financial Planning & Analysis, Strategic 23
Planning & Business Development, and Investor Relations. 24

Q. Briefly describe your present responsibilities at the Southern California Edison Company. 6
A. I am the Principal Manger of the Grid Technology Innovation group within the Transmission and 7
Distribution organizational unit of Southern California Edison (SCE). My main responsibility 8
includes the evaluation of new technologies to help support the company’s vision into the future 9
and support the integration of renewable resources (e.g., Solar PV, Energy Storage, MicroGrids, 10
etc). The GTI team is also responsible to serve as a liaison with outside entities involved in R&D 11
effort (e.g., National Labs, Department of Energy, EPRI, Universities, etc.) to help guide and 12
collaborate. 13

A. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University Long 15
Beach and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern 16
California. I joined SCE in April of 2003 and worked in different engineering and leadership 17
roles. Prior to my 2003 hiring at SCE, I worked in different electrical engineering positions at 18
Siemens, Schneider Electric, Operation Technology, Inc. and Lyncole XIT Grounding Systems. 19
In addition, since 2008, I have served as a part-time faculty in the Electrical Engineering 20
Departments at California state University Long Beach (CSULB), California state University 21
Los Angles (CSULA) and the Master Online Program at the University of California Los 22
Angeles (UCLA). 23

A. I am the Principal Manager of the General Rate Case in SCE’s Regulatory Affairs Department. I8
am responsible for the overall management of the General Rate Case (GRC), from the9
development of the company’s application and testimony, through the litigation process, and10
continuing through the implementation of a final decision.11

A. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Economics, with an emphasis in Accounting from13
the University of California, Santa Barbara. I also have a Master of Business Administration14
from University of Southern California. Since my employment with Southern California Edison15
in 2004, I have held positions within the Finance, Enterprise Resource Planning and Regulatory16
Affairs departments. My areas of responsibility have included Sarbanes-Oxley compliance,17
design and implementation of the Company’s enterprise resource planning system, rate base and18
depreciation forecasting, financial planning, regulatory accounting and regulatory case19
management. In 2009, I was promoted to Manager of Regulatory Analysis within the Finance20
organization. There it was my responsibility to oversee the forecasting of plant additions, rate21
base and depreciation expense in support of the Company’s regulatory proceedings. I sponsored22
testimony as the rate base witness in SCE’s 2012 GRC and testified at the Commission. Since23
then, I have held leadership roles in financial planning and regulatory accounting until 201824
when I joined Regulatory Affairs as the Principal Manger of the General Rate Case.25

Maintenance and Inspection Oversight, which provides oversight of existing program, 11
Maintenance and Inspection Analytics, which provides analytical support of maintenance and 12
inspection activities, 13
Failure Analysis, which performs failure and root cause analysis of equipment failures, 14
Asset Data Strategy and Innovation, re-designing inspection programs and developing 15

A. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara. I joined SCE in 18
2014, in the capacity of Manager of FERC/NERC compliance. In 2015 I was moved into the 19
position of Compliance Strategy manager. In 2016 my title was changed to Maintenance and 20
Inspection Manager. In 2019, I was promoted to Principal Manager of AA&DS. Prior to joining 21
SCE I worked at the CPUC for 14 years, in various capacities. 22

my current position, I was an Assistant General Counsel since 2012. Prior to that, I held a 16
number of positions in the Law Department, including Director and Managing Attorney of the 17
Transmission and Wholesale Markets section, Senior Attorney in the Base Rates section, and 18
Attorney in the Customer and Tariff section. I also led the Tariff and Program Services Division 19
of the Customer Service organization. 20

Circuit before practicing commercial litigation at the law firm of Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP in 15
San Francisco and Los Angeles. I joined SCE’s Legal Organization in 2010 as a regulatory 16
attorney, progressing to roles of increasing responsibility—Senior Attorney (2013), Director & 17
Managing Attorney (2016), and now Assistant General Counsel (2020). I have extensive CPUC 18
regulatory experience. 19

Customer Services. I have over 17 years of experience in the area of IT over the course of my 19

revenue requirement calculations and rate design for both retail and resale customers. I filed 16
testimony on behalf of SPS before the Texas Public Utility Commission and the Federal Energy 17
Regulatory Commission. In November of 1993, I began to work for SCE as a financial analyst in 18
the FERC Pricing section in the RP&A Department. While working in the FERC section, I was 19
responsible for the rate design for SCE’s requirements sales for resale, Wheeling Access 20
Charges, and wholesale Distribution Access Charges. In March 1998, I became a supervisor in 21
the Revenue Requirements division of RP&A, responsible for supervising a group of analysts 22
that oversee the forecasting and recording entries associated with all CPUC regulatory 23
mechanisms. In December 2001, I was promoted to the position of manager in the Revenue 24
Requirements division of RP&A. In August 2006, I was promoted to Manager of CPUC 25
Revenue Requirements, and in March 2013, I became the Director of CPUC Revenue 26
Requirements and Tariffs taking on the additional responsibilities for managing SCE’s tariffs, 27
and advice letters. In March of 2018, I became the Director of the GRC. I have previously 28
