VILLA ALFIERI Cantarutti’s new wine selection AZIENDA CANTARUTTI ALFIERI Società Agricola Semplice Via Ronchi, 9 33048 San Giovanni al Natisone (Udine) Tel. 0432756317 Fax. 0432746055 www.cantaruttialfieri.it e- mail: [email protected] The wines of this selection have been created in order to valorize those vines that, when assembled, allow to obtain wines suitable for an easy and frequent consump- tion.Villa Alfieri wines come exclusively from our own grapes, grown in our vine- yards located in the gentle hills of Colli Orientali del Friuli and the foothill area of Friuli Grave. Villa Alfieri Red Wine: obtained by the assembly of 50% of Merlot and of 50 % of Cabernet Sauvignon. The refined nose reminds the brushwood and small fruits; you will find cassis notes with fine perceptions of liquo- rice and bark. It matches excellently with mushrooms, typical Italian soups and also with meats not too tasty. Very interesting the matching with grilled rich fishes and also with half-hard paste cheeses. Villa Alfieri White Wine: it is com- posed by 30% Sauvignon, 40% Friu- lano and 30% Chardonnay. The nose is very nice and reminds classic spring bouquets: you will recognize rich notes of rosemary that smartly matches with yellow flower ones. It is excellent for drinking wines in com- pany and pleasant with canapés. The matching with the typical Italian cui- sine dishes is very smart but it can be also well combined with white meats and delicate cheeses, both with soft and half-hard paste ones. .
