To be eligible for the Odenza Marketing Group Volunteer Award a student must:

1. Be between the ages of 16 and 22 on December 30th, 2016

2. A student must also possess a GPA of 2.5 or higher in his/her last academic year.

3. A student must have contributed at least 50 hours of volunteer (non-paid) service within his/her community over

The scholarship is open to anyone in the community who plans to pursue an education in the medical healthcare field,

presents need and has had some community involvement.

Eligibility requirements are as follows:

1) Applicant must be accepted at an accredited college or university during the academic year 2017-18 to pursue a career

in the field of medical healthcare. Please note, unfortunately, Dental and Orthodontic students are not eligible for this

scholarship.

2) Applicant must complete an application and submit essays of 300 words or less each.

3) Applicant must submit one letter of recommendation (from someone not living with you).

4) Applicant must submit a current copy of their transcripts.

5) Applicant must currently have a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA (as of the last year attended).

The PHYLLIS LAWSON SCHOLARSHIP honors the outstanding service, leadership, knowledge and commitment to

Name: American Indian Endowed Scholarship

Award: Multiple Renewable Awards from

$500-$2,000

Deadline: February 1, 2017

This program provides educational scholarships on a competitive basis to outstanding students with close social and

cultural ties to an American Indian tribe or community in the state. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic

merit and a commitment to serve the American Indian community in the state of Washington.

These students are eligible to receive their college scholarships for up to five years. Renewal scholarships are not

automatic and require submission of the application each year.

Legacy Awards are $4,000 scholarships for children and grandchildren of Elks members. The Foundation will offer a

total of 250 awards in the 2017 contest.

For the 2017 contest, any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined

the order on or before April 1, 2014, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2014, is

Name: Courageous Persuaders Scholarship

Award: Multiple Awards from $500-$2,000 Deadline: February 9, 2017

Open to ALL High School Students nationally can participate; emphasis is placed on concept and the message, not on

production values. Students are encouraged to use whatever video equipment is available to them. Teachers and

principals, school audio/video departments, parent and community leaders are urged to share their equipment and lend

local support by promoting the program as a very unique scholarship competition that is fun to participate in and has a

powerful impact on a serious problem.

Create a TV commercial targeted at middle school students to warn them about the dangers of underage drinking or
