That difference of $244 equates to a loan amount difference $52,600. Kim’s Corner Potatoe Casserole

Quick prep side dish good with many meals!

Ingredients:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2 lbs Frozen Potato O’brien (mix froxen)

2 cups sour cream

2 cans cream of chicken

1/4 cup melted butter

2 cups graded sharp cheddar cheese

Mix all ingrediants together in a bowl and pour into

9x13 baking pan. Finally even out in baking pan and

top with a layer of Parmesan cheese. Bake for 1 to

1 1/2 hours until bubbling and evenly cooked with a

nice brown top.

Interest rate trends and home purchase timing

We have all seen for several months on line and in the newspaper that mortgage rates are near historic lows again.

We last saw this in 2012 with the rates slowly increasing almost 1%. Truly we didn’t expect that they would come back

down to near all‐time lows again. However, they did and a 30yr fixed loan carries a rate of 3.75% today with no lender

fees ($417k and below loan amount, 3.81% APR).

So the rates are low but what does that mean in terms of home buying? Lets say you were to purchase a home for

$521,000 and secure a traditional, Fannie Mae, 20% down loan bringing your loan amount to $417,000 (the high cost

loan limit allows us to go up to $625,500 in the county of Orange). At 3.75% your principle & interest payment would be
