School of Stars is the Planetarium of Pamplona’s main activity and its most importantfunction is to complement and further develop the school curriculum, from Primary toBachillerato. The idea is an educational experience that combines learning with fun andenjoyment, through the use of the starlit sky as the form of motivation.
2013-2014 SCHOOL YEAR NEWS
This school year we present "Energía para la vida / Energia Bizia / Energy for life", a programfor students in the 3rd and 4th of ESO and Bachillerato which is accompanied by a verycomplete educational guide to help you better understand everything about the energy thatuses our society.We continue the process of renewal of the didactic guides to adapt them to the changingtimes and to make them more attractive to students.Throughout the course we will complete the production of a program dealing with the topicof the seasons. This show will be aimed at students in the 5th and 6th grade. Also, followingour continuous renovation project we will present new "fulldome pills" on specific subjectsintended to complete the visit and following the suggestions made by the teachers in thepolls.
THE SCHOOL OF STARS
This 2013-2014 school year we continue offering the experience completely in English and adding "Energy for life" to our proposal. So, our School of Stars has now five programs withEnglish narration: The girl who walked upside down, The adventures of Alex & RGB,Grandmother Earth, Evolution and Energy for life.

20th ANIVERSARYNovember 26, 2013 is the 20th birthday of thePlanetarium of Pamplona. That's why ourSchool of Stars celebrates this course theedition number 21. Since 1993, usingastronomy as the backbone, we approachother disciplines such as History, Literature,Visual Arts, Mathematics, General Science,Mythology, Philosophy or even LanguageTeaching. The activity we propose is underthe planetarium dome, but also in theclassroom through the didactical guides wehave designed to complete the visit. Ourproposal covers all pre-university levels, withcontent adapted to each of them.

The girl who walked upside downThis is the story of a veryspecial girl. She suddenlyappeared one day in spring,after a storm, walking upsidedown across a rainbow in thesky.The girl who walked upsidedown had a very differentpoint of view, maybe that wasthe reason she walked in sucha peculiar way.

RGB is a state of the art robotwho loves travelling aroundthe Universe.He can visit other worlds, passthrough asteroid belts, escapefrom black holes and evenreach far off galaxies, but heonly knows one language,English.Accompany him and Álex ontheir adventures through thecosmos.
