Welcome from the Headmaster
Repton School UK was founded in 1557 in Derbyshire, England. Today there are Repton International Schools in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and our family of schools is still growing. Repton Bangalore will be Repton International’s first school in India, opening on an impressive 35 acre campus in September 2018.
Our mission at Repton Bangalore is to create a truly world-class international school for our children. I am delighted to be founding and leading a new community amidst the energy that surrounds us in this ambitious and diverse city. I know

For over 20 years I have led outstanding, happy and successful schools both in the UK and internationally. I now want to consolidate my knowledge and experience into creating the very best school possible. I aim to make our students question, take risks, learn from mistakes, love learning and smile on a daily basis. If we get that right then we will all be happy.

Repton, Bangalore follows a 13 year system based on the English National Curric lum, while many Indian schools follow a 12 year programme. We take into consideration the age of the child and the child’s current grade/year group to place the child in the appropriate class. Please refer to the table indicating the equivalent year group at Repton, Bangalore when students are transferring from a 12 year system. Age will be determined as on 1st September of admission year.

Pre SchoolEnjoy an exceptional standard of care and education. All our centres offer the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) curriculum, a part of the English National Curriculum. The EYFS is based on the principles of learning through structured play. It emphasises child initiated and teacher-facilitated learning. The key areas of learning are:

Junior SchoolOur Junior School offers a wealth of opportunities, preparing young people for their transition into the Senior school.

Senior SchoolThe Senior school will be launched the following year and will be offering:
Year 7-Year 9 - A broad and balanced menu of Arts, Sciences and Languages, giving a strong foundation for the forthcoming examination years. Individuals will be tutored to take responsibility for their own learning, hone their study skills and work towards a greater understanding of their own strengths, interests and areas for further development.
Year 10-11 IGCSE - Students are further encouraged to specialise in some areas and to seek the highest possible qualifications in a wide range of accredited subjects.
Year 12-13 IB Diploma - Preparing students at the highest possible level for tertiaryeducation and beyond. The Repton approach is renowned for consistently placingstudents in the world’s top Oxbridge and Ivy League Universities.
The Arts at ReptonOur focus on the arts enables children to thrive and learn creativity, collaboration, and confidence from a young age. We will offer purpose-built facilities to nurture their interests, with dedicated music practice rooms, a spacious art studio, dance studio, and eventually a purpose-built theatre.
