Posted: 5/14/2015 by otherI'm not sure how much has changed in the past few years, but Melrose Middle School was a very negative experience for me. Coursework was remedial, fist fightsin the hallways were all too common, and cafeteria food lacked nutritional value.

Posted: 10/12/2008 by parentWe have moved to Melrose last year. Compare to the school district my daughter has attended before (Rockwood schools, MO) Melrose Middle is ~ 2 yearsbehind. My child is pretty much repeating things she has learned in elementary school.

Posted: 3/25/2008 by parentMy son is in the special education dept and the teachers are great there. Outside of that dept the teachers are a bit crass when you need to discuss anything withthem. I find the principal to be friendly and easy to engage. There are not enough books and this makes it hard on the students who need to know where oldinformation is to study.

But the teachers are great,the principal is very nice and the rest of the faculties just all together really care. Melrose Middle School is a very good school!
