Solve the following questions:Q1. A fiber of 100 m length has Pin = 10 μm and Pout = 9 μm. Find the loss in dB/km.

Q2. A communication system uses 10 km of fiber that has a 2.5 dB/km loss characteristic. Find the output power if the input power 400 mW.

Q3. Calculate the loss in NA and the loss in diameter if you know the following: Transmitting fiber has a core diameter of 53 μm and an NA of 0.235 Receiving fiber has a core diameter of 40 μm and an NA of 0.21

Q4. Discuss the main reason of loss in fiber optical cables?
