A letter to a friend… Ein Brief an einen Freund… Письмо другу…
«…Hi Tom, Nice to meet you. I’m going to be your pen friend this year! I’m from Moscow, Russia. I’m studying at School #656 and I really like it. That’s pity that the summer is over but, on the other hand, it’s time for school again, it’s time to get a lot of knowledge can and meet with friends after long summer holidays. I’d like to tell you about all the September events in my school. The 1st of September is a very important day for everyone and especially for children who came to school for the first time. Our 1st September meeting was amazing. It wasn’t long but still interesting. Lots of important people were invited. Our talented students took part in the event. The poems from the 1st formers and school leavers were very touching. Also we have a tradition in our school: there is a poster opposite the main entrance and students using different colorful stickers indicate their aims for this school year. If you look at the poster you can see that there are a lot of red stickers what means that the most of students would like to study better than before. Another important thing is a waste-paper-collection day. Our teachers and we help to save trees. And we really succeed in it this year, because we collected a lot of paper. Hallo Tom! Nett, dich kennenzulernen. Ich werde dein Brieffreund sein. Ich bin aus Russland, aus Moskau. Ich gehe in die Schule 656
und es gefällt mir hier zur Schule zu gehen. Obwohl der Sommer schon vorbei ist, freue ich mich sehr, dass die Schulzeit
wiederkehrt. Die Zeit neues zu lernen und die vielen Freunde wieder zu sehen.
Nun will ich dir erzählen, was in unserer Schule in diesem Monat passiert ist. Der Feiertag „Der erste September“ ist ein
wichtiger Tag für alle, besonders wichtig ist es für die Kinder, die das erste Mal in die Schule gehen. Die traditionelle
Veranstaltung bezüglich dieses feiertags war in meiner Schule speziell. Es dauerte nicht lang, aber es war sehr
interessant. Es wurden viele wichtige Personen zu dieser Veranstaltung eingeladen, auch viele begabte Schüler haben
daran teilgenommen. Die Schulanfänger, erzählten Gedichte und es war sehr rührend. Wir haben in unserer Schule eine
Tradition, und zwar beim Eingang hängt ein Poster, wo Kinder ihre Wünsche für das nächste Jahr mithilfe von
Sticker^ aufhängen können. In diesem Jahr gab es viele rote Sticker, das bedeutet, dass die Schüler bessere Leistungen
zeigen wollen, als im letzten Jahr.
Es wurde noch eine wichtige Veranstaltung organisiert- die Altpapiersammlung. Wir versuchen Bäume mit
unserenLehrern zu retten. Und wir sind ziemlich erfolgreich. Ich bin davon überzeugt, dass wir schon 5 Bäume, wenn
nicht sogareinen kleinen Wald, vom Abholzen gerettet haben, da wir sehr viel altes Papier gesammelt haben.
Ich hoffe, dass es auch so interessant und fröhlich in deiner Schule ist. Ich warte auf deinen Brief.

«… Привет Том, Приятно познакомиться. Я буду твоим другом по переписке в этом году! Я из России, из Москвы. Я учусь в школе 656 и мне очень нравится учиться здесь. Несмотря на то, что лето закончилось, я рада, что пришло время вернуться в школу, время получать много новых знаний и снова увидеть своих друзей. Итак, я хочу тебе рассказать обо всех событиях, которые произошли в моей школе за первый месяц учебы. Праздник первого сентября - это очень важный день для всех, а особенно для детей, которые пришли в школу впервые. В моей школе линейка была особенной. Мероприятие было недолгим, но интересным. На линейку были приглашены очень важные люди, многие талантливые ученики также принимали участие в празднике. Стихи первоклассников и выпускников были очень трогательными. А еще у нас в школе есть традиция: на первом этаже возле входа висит плакат, и ученики с помощью разноцветных стикеров обозначают свои пожелания на этот учебный год. В этот раз преобладают наклейки красного цвета, а это значит, что многие ребята хотят учиться лучше, чем в прошлом году. Затем в моей школе было организовано еще одно немаловажное мероприятие - сбор макулатуры. Мы вместе с нашими педагогами стараемся спасать деревья. И у нас это неплохо получается. Уверена, что в этом году мы точно спасли 5 деревьев от вырубки, а может даже и небольшой лес, ведь мы собрали огромное количество макулатуры. Надеюсь, что тебе тоже весело и интересно в твоей школе. Хэллоуин
Совсем скоро, 31 октября, наступит самый ужасающий и классный праздник – Хэллоуин.
История этого праздника берет начало еще в те времена, когда кельты (которые, кстати говоря, считаются основателями Хэллоуина) были язычниками. А в ночь Хэллоуина бог тьмы и смерти Самхэйн вступал в свои права, отстраняя главного божества – бога Солнца. И тогда на свет выходила всякого рода нечисть, которая могла влиять на людей.
Чтобы отпугнуть злых духов, жрецы проводили специальные обряды: закладывали огромные костры, приносили жертвы. Эти ритуалы должны были защищать людей весь следующий год, до начала Хэллоуина.
Примерно в XVI веке, после причисления Хэллоуина к католическим праздникам, появились новые обычаи. Дети наряжались в маски и костюмы и ходили по соседним домам, выпрашивая угощения и сладости. Считалось, что давать сладости детям нужно обязательно, ведь вы не только защитите себя от злых духов, но и ещѐ обезопасите себя от беспорядка, т.к., если вы не угостили своих гостей, то они имеют полное право его вам устроить. В наше время праздник более популярен в США, чем в странах Европы.
Почти все, даже те, кто никогда не праздновал этот будоражащий кровь праздник, знают, что на Хэллоуин вырезаются фонарики из тыкв. Но почему? Во-первых, праздник проводится, когда уже полностью завершены полевые работы, и тыквы символизируют сытую зиму и солнце, которое может защитить от нечисти. Во-вторых, существует легенда, что с такими фонариками из овощей блуждают по болотам заблудшие души. В частности, душа хитреца Джека, который попросил дьявола после смерти не забирать его в Ад. Но, так как в Рай Джек тоже не попал, он вынужден блуждать по миру в поисках своей души и освещать себе дорогу фонариком из тыквы.
В наши дни Хэллоуин превратился в веселый карнавал, во время которого люди примеряют на себя различные страшные образы и веселятся всю ночь до рассвета. Тематические праздничные вечеринки организуются в клубах, кафе и прочих развлекательных заведениях. Хотя, конечно, множество людей отмечает этот праздник дома с друзьями.

«Джокер». Фильм, который уже идет на больших экранах, поэтому вы можете пойти в кино.

Halloween
Very soon, on October 31, the most terrifying and cool holiday - Halloween is coming.
The history of this holiday dates back to the days when the Celts (who, by the way, are considered the founders of Halloween) were pagans. And on Halloween night, the God of darkness and death, Samhain, took over, removing the main deity-the Sun God. And then all sorts of evil came into the world, which could affect people.
To scare away evil spirits, the priests conducted special rituals: laid huge bonfires, made sacrifices. These rituals were supposed to protect people the whole next year, before Halloween.
Around the sixteenth century, after reckoning Halloween as a Catholic holiday, new customs appeared. Children dressed up in masks and costumes and went to neighboring houses, asking for treats and sweets. It was believed that it was necessary to give sweets to children, because you not only protect yourself from evil spirits, but also protect yourself from confusion, because if you have not treated your guests, they have every right to arrange it for you. Nowadays, the holiday is more popular in the United States than in Europe.
Almost everyone, even those who have never celebrated this blood-thirsty holiday, know that pumpkin lanterns are cut out on Halloween. But why? Firstly, the holiday is held when field work is already completed and the pumpkins symbolize the well-fed winter and the sun, which can protect against evil spirits. Secondly, there is a legend that lost souls wander through the swamps with such lanterns made of vegetables. In particular, the soul of the cunning Jack, who asked the devil after death not to take him to Hell, does so. But, since Jack didn’t get to Paradise either, he is forced to wander around the world in search of his soul and light his way with a pumpkin flashlight.
Today, Halloween has become a fun carnival, during which people try on various scary costumes and have fun all night until dawn. Themed festive parties are organized in clubs, cafes and other entertainment venues. Although, of course, many people celebrate this holiday at home with friends.
