CREDIT COURSES

This program is for current high school students or adult learners who are interested in earning a new credit or upgrading a previous mark.
Earn missed credits or fast-track preparation for college or university in just one month. A $50 cash-only, refundable textbook deposit is required on the first day of class. Courses are held at Bear Creek Secondary School in Barrie, Ontario. Limited school bus transportation is provided, with schedules available at www.thelearningcentres.com five days prior to the program start.

eLEARNING CREDIT COURSES
These courses are for current high school students or adult learners who are interested in earning a new credit or upgrading a previous mark.
Advance online learning skills, earn missed credits or fast-track preparation for college or university in just five weeks. All eLearning courses are conducted entirely online. Students interact every weekday with their peers and the teacher using a virtual learning environment.

The Adult & Continuing Education department is offering summer co-op education starting July 4, 2017.
All students must be referred by their home school.

STUDENT REGISTRATION Current SCDSB students can register for classes via the student portal. Students from outside the SCDSB can register with the paper form from the Learning Centres website. These students need to ensure they receive a current school approval signature and submit a completed form to their local Learning Centre. eLearning students are to visit their guidance counsellor to register. Co-op applications must be dropped off in person to the student’s local Learning Centre.
