PROGRAMME AT A GLANCE
MESSAGE
Dear colleagues and friends:
Greetings! In behalf of the Dept. of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery of Ospital ng Makati, I welcome you to our 12th Annual International Rhinoplasty Course and Hands-on Work-shop.
The course has been running since 2001 and every year new concepts and topics are introduced by renowned speakers throughout the globe. This year’s course is a joint rhinoplasty activity between the Philippines and Taiwan Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. With the theme “Bridging Knowledge in the Art and Science of Asian Rhinoplasty”, I am certain this course will bring out enthusiasm among the speakers and participants in the exchange of ideas and techniques in sur-gery.
The two-day course includes a day of didactics and a day of live rhinoplastic surgeries with Q&A. There will be 5-6 varieties of noses operated and streamed in two projection screens in high definition video. There will be facilitators/instructors around to answer queries among participants.
We have also opened the Live Surgery to “Hands-on” activity wherein the participants can observe and assist up close and personal with the surgeons. The Hands-on registration includes a rhinoplasty manual, personalized scrub suits, metal plaque of attendance and video compilation of the live surgeries (to be sent via courier). This registration is limited to 15 only so prior confirmation is needed.
The course is fashioned to suit all levels of surgeons from novice to the experienced ones. We will make each moment memora-ble, as this learning opportunity module prepared is quite unique. We assure you of good comprehension especially on day-2 live surgery workshop.
Come one come all, let’s learn together the art and science of Asian Rhinoplasty.
Sincerely yours, Eduardo C. Yap, MD, FPSO-HNS Course Director Founding President FACES, Inc.
