The SCION SQ is designed to analyze thousands of samples from complex matrices. With an upper mass limit of m/z 1200, it is purposefully matched for any GC application. The innovative ‘Lens-Free’ design gives you unmat-ched stability, which combined with the robustness of the ion source, delivers ultra-high sensitivity on a routine basis. Additionally, every EI system is shipped “CI ready” for easy future upgrade to CI to meet your requirement for versatility.

However, the PTV with Bruker’s “backflush” technique can reliably divert the higher boiling sample matrix away from the column.
