    Hank Gougelmann, Del Webb Resident

Each of the courses that I participated in consisted

of an interesting topic pursued and enriched by an

academic instructor. The classes were small enough in

population to allow question and answer time. On some

occasions, travel to nearby sites enriched the subject

matter we had covered. I feel I gained new knowledge

    and many new friendships.

    Pat Gougelmann, Del Webb Resident

I have enjoyed the opportunity and convenience of

experiencing many of the interesting courses offered

over the past several semesters. The content and

materials presented by well qualied professionals

helped me better appreciate the subject matter. The

classes also gave me the opportunity to meet fellow

neighbors and form new and exciting friendships.

    Betty Wheeler, Del Webb Resident

My initial decision to re-locate to Sun City Anthem

was based on the ASU connection and the opportunity

to explore topics of interest that I now have the time

to pursue. The convenience and reasonable costs have

allowed me to explore a variety of subjects. Through the

lifelong learning program I have enjoyed touring the

PBS studios in Phoenix and the opportunity to take

other eld trips. My denition of retirement is to keep

the brain working even if the body is slowing down.

    Bruce Porter, Community Scholar

I have spent most of my adult professional life teaching

in a technical eld. For years I have studied and

practiced art in various forms as a hobby. Now I have

the time to combine my love of both art and teaching

to help others enjoy the satisfaction of expressing their

lives and experiences as works of art.
