THANK YOU - WE APPRECIATE YOUR HELP PLEASE COME TO OUR PARENT HELPER MORNING TEA The staff and students would like to say a big thankyou to our wonderful parent helpers and volunteers who work together to make our school great. Please come along to our morning tea hosted by the staff. Parent Helper Morning Tea In the staffroom On Tuesday 4 December At 10:30am AMAZING COMMUNITY SPIRIT Kate Croucher (on behalf of Scone Public school) applied for the Community Apprentice Grant that Bengalla had on offer. We were lucky enough to receive the grant. Kate had asked for a wheelchair accessible cubby house as well as sensory tubs that would benefit our students. We are so overwhelmed with the size and magnificence of the cubby house and the manual labour that was supplied to make this project happen. A huge thank you to Bengalla. Over twenty apprentices from Bengalla have worked together over the last week to build a specially designed, wheelchair friendly, cubby house located in our Magic Garden Playground adjacent to our Support Class. This wonderful initiative showcased the talents of many local young men and amplified what teamwork and community spirit can achieve. We are very thankful to the team of apprentices and their supervisors for making this happen for our students. You can see photos of the cubby house construction in this week’s newsletter.
