sCOUT Mk3Unrivalled small target detection
sCoUt mk3 is the most advanced 2D maritime surveillance radar. Advanced Doppler processing and a high range resulotion ensures excellent clutter suppression. SCOUT Mk3 is able to detect very small objects even in high sea states or in close vicinity to larger objects. Low-level air coverage is provided and its LPI nature enables covert operations.

sCOUT Mk3Unrivalled small target detection
aUtomatiC deteCtion and traCking of small targetsThe SCOUT Mk3 detects very small targets in heavy clutter. It outperforms radars with conventional Moving Target Indication (MTI) processing. State of the art Tracking algorithms, Doppler processing and Multiple Hypothesis Tracking make SCOUT Mk3 a superior 2D maritime surveillance radar.
trUe lPi – see, bUt not be seenEmissions from the integrated SCOUT Mk3 antenna are hard to detect. The applied Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) technique uses extremely low power. Unlike pulse radars with quasi LPI modes, detection performance is not sacrificed. This feature is called ‘True LPI‘ (Low Probability of Intercept). It allows SCOUT Mk3 to operate covertly in a hostile environment.
low life CyCle Costs, high aVailabilityThe combination of demanding military requirements, modular design, use of solid state technology, and the extremely low radiated power ensures low life cycle cost and high availability.
main featUres
• Small target detection • Detection of asymmetric threats • Full automatic detection and track initiation • Fast track initiation with low false track rate • Safe for personnel due to extremely low transmitter
