Screenshots of my progress.
I placed my main image onto a plain background, this would be my front cover.
I used text tool in photoshop to create a cover line, and change the colours I cropped a barcode and added it in on top of my main image.
Also using the text tool, I added the issue number and price underneath the barcode. I also created another cover line and sub-cover line I changed the colours of the cover lines
I managed to create a rectangle for separation of cover lines within the page and effect (red rectangle) I created a shadowed boc (changed opacity of the fill) to fit cover lines in
I added in additional cover lines also added some brightness to the image.
I created another rectangle and put in a fill, using the same colour as the models lipstick I created a border for the rectangle where my masthead would go
I added in more cover lines and finished all the main ones I contrasted the image slightly and added a curve
I added in the writing for my masthead into the fill/rectangle I created a thin white rectangle for my strip of my magazine (skyline)
To complete my magazine, I added artist names into the strapline and filtered the image slightly giving a brightened effect.
I started off with a blank space, then added in the contents in, starting with a white colour for the background.
I created a rectangle that was black to add my images into and act as a border/separation for the page. One by one, I then placed the images into the border in order. I managed to add a curve to all the images to brighten them and give an edgy effect
I added in borders/seperations as arrows for my page numbers and cover lines
At this point I have added in all my cover lines and even a link to the products social media sight. I have also added oage numbers within the black arrows.
I have created a black rectangle to put my text for my editorial letter in.
I have added my editorial in to my contents page and completed it
For my double page spread I used in design, first I used this image for my article
After, I created columns within in design and added in my text for my article. Lastly, I added in the title and the sub title, imported from photoshop.
