So when he heard that 4 girls had gone missing at a Local hiking location here was keen to investigate and work out once and for all if this was Folklore or he could find their remains..... He also likes adventures and hadn't been Mountaineering in weeks...So... He quickly called his mate Tony - he needed a Bus and a group of adventurers to seek out this legend and clear it up once and for all..... It was all coming together when Tony did the risk Assessment. Without more leaders, Scruffie would have to "take it easy" - This is never Acceptable to Scruffie. He Called his Editor and insisted on three more leaders. They were going and Doing it "THE HARD WAY"...And Scruffies News would report on it. There would be No memory loss or weird Stories. And Again .. Scruffie is furious at this short sighted view. Everyone knows that Dogs have excellent sleuthing and detectoring skills, dont let a few bad apples (canines) ruin it for everybody!

(Survivors of a Smallpox epidemic were moved to Healsville - Coranderrk Station - 120 Km away) The rock was a Meeting place on the borders of the Wurundjeri, Taungurong, and Djadja Wurrung peoples land.
When scruffie stood on the top he could see in all directions, it felt like a stone age fort, Clearly anyone living here would have recognised this outcrop as one of significance..(Scruffie has had many adventures in stoneage sites like
this in Europe) Next time you visit or when you recommed this site, remember that ancient people lived here for over 25,000 years
and used the area to make amazing stone tools. It was like a Stone toll factory....... (and pay less attention to a Novel and a myth of few missing girls who would never have got lost if they had followed
